Can you work together to save the Sea Otters?
Endangered is a cooperative board game where players take on one of five roles -- Zoologist, Philanthropist, TV Wildlife Host, Lobbyist, or Environmental Lawyer -- to try to save a population of a species at risk.
In honour of Endangered Species Day the following day, Humber & University of Guelph-Humber Library and Humber Arboretum invite students and staff to come together on Thursday May 15 and see if they can save the Sea Otters, who are listed as a species of Special Concern in Canada.
There will also be books to sign out and displays to learn about endangered species.
When: Thursday May 15, 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM
This is a drop-in event and it will be possible to join the game in-progress if space permits, but arriving at the start is the best way to get in on the game!
Who: Humber Polytechnic and University of Guelph-Humber students and staff
Where: North Campus, Learning Resource Commons (LRC), Third Floor Landing (not in the Arb or the library!)
How: This is a free, drop-in event but space at the game is limited.
