Food bank use hits record high across Canada

With the Daily Bread Food bank reporting it has more client visits than Toronto has people, the usage of food banks across Canada has reached concerning levels. Food bank visits reached two million in March, up six per cent from last year and 90 per cent since 2019, as rising living costs leave Canadians struggling to meet basic needs.
