It was almost a great weekend for Toronto sports fans. The Argonauts won the Grey Cup. The Leafs beat the Oilers in OT. Then, there were the Raptors, who lost again to Boston. It has our sports writers calling on the team to speed up its rebuilding efforts.

Learn about the risks of substance use

The Sober Social is being held today. It's a workshop that invites students to learn about the risks related to substance abuse. It's organized by Humber's public relations certificate program and the Student Wellness & Accessibility Centre. It takes place from 12 to 3 p.m. in Room G101 on the Lakeshore campus.

Nuit Blanche 2025 call for proposals

It's been just six weeks since Nuit Blanche, but Humber is already looking for ideas for next year. Humber Galleries is putting out an open call for submissions from students and members of the general public to be hosted at the Lakeshore campus next year.

Humber Athletics

It was a clean sweep for the Hawks at Mohawk College Friday night. The women's volleyball team won 3-0, and the men's team won 3-1.

On Wednesday, there will be two basketball games played against the Conestoga Condors at the Conestoga Student Recreation Centre in Kitchener.

  • Men's game: 8 p.m.
