Humber ETC looks into yesterday's accident involving a Delta airplane at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.

The aircraft overturned on the runway after crash-landing on the tarmac.

Smoke and spot fires bloomed from the plane and first responders reacted quickly to contain the flames.

They and the flight crew aided in the evacuation of the passengers on board.

No lives were lost in this incident, however multiple injuries have been reported. The remains of the aircraft will stay on the north and east-facing runway as investigations are ongoing.

Delta passenger John Nelson describes how Delta Air Lines Flight 4819 flipped over and caught fire when it crashed during landing at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday afternoon.
