The women’s Olympic hockey game between Canada and Finland, scheduled for later today has been postponed after Finland’s women’s hockey team fell ill with the norovirus.
“The International Olympic Committee, the Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee, the International Ice Hockey Federation, Team Finland and Team Canada confirm that the game between Team Finland and Team Canada in the women’s Olympic ice hockey competition scheduled to take place today has been postponed,” the Games organizing committee said in a statement.
They said the rescheduled date for competition is Feb. 12 at 2:30 p.m. ET at Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.
Team Canada will now move on to face Switzerland this Saturday at 3:10 p.m. ET.
